Day 01 of 30

Clear The First Hour

Today's goal

Stop trying to fix your whole life today. Build a safe first hour.

Start here: the first 10 minutes

Drink water. Wash your face or brush your teeth. Open a curtain or step outside. If today is very hard, do only these three things and contact someone safe.

Step 1 · Morning
Why this matters

A predictable first hour reduces decisions when everything feels overwhelming. Light gives your body a daytime cue; basic hygiene is a manageable act of care.

Make it easier: If the full step feels too much, do a two-minute version. Stop and ask for support if needed.

Step 2 · Midday
Why this matters

Writing worries down separates problems you can act on from thoughts that keep looping.

Step 3 · Evening
Why this matters

A short change of surroundings interrupts isolation; one honest message gives someone a chance to support you.

What this can look like

If rent, an argument, and an old embarrassment are on your list: plan one call about rent, choose when to discuss the argument, and cross out the embarrassment if it no longer deserves your energy.

Your movement break — 5 minutes

Walk around your room, march gently on the spot, or sit and move your arms and legs.

It is not a test, punishment, or substitute for treatment. Move at a comfortable pace; if you have health limitations, adapt or skip it.

Optional timer:
Food idea — not a diet

Eggs or yogurt with toast and fruit. Simple protein, carbohydrate and fruit help make eating achievable.

Eating something accessible is better than chasing a perfect menu.

Write it down · private

Tonight — two minutes: (1) What did I try? (2) What got in the way? (3) What is one smaller version I could try tomorrow? No grading, no failure.

Did only part of it? Complete it anyway. Progress over perfection.
